Sunday Service Structure
If you are visiting Living Hope for the first time, you will be warmly greeted at the door. Our greeters are happy to help you find your way to the Chapel. You can also visit the Information Table in the entrance area, where you fill find more information about Living Hope.
We combine traditional elements of our Christian heritage with a relaxed, modern style. The service is designed to focus on worshiping our Savior and engaging in the life-changing truths of the Bible.
The service usually lasts about an hour. You can expect the first 30 minutes to include worship, corporate prayer, and announcements, followed by a 20-25 minute sermon, and ending with a closing song. We share the sacrament of communion either once or twice a month.
We do not collect an offering during the service. As you enter the chapel, you will find a box of tithes as well as prayer requests. We welcome the opportunity to get to know you better; please feel free to fill out a Prayer, Praise and Connect card located at the entrance of our worship space.
There is coffee and tea available before and after the service in the cafeteria just outside the chapel.
Nursery and Children's Ministry
The safety of our children is a high priority. Our children's ministry teachers and nursery volunteers have up-to-date background checks and go through Ministry Safe sexual abuse and prevention training.
We desire our classes to be a safe place where we learn more about our amazing God through His Word and where friendships are fostered. Our classes use the Bible Studies for Life curriculum by Lifeway. In addition to a lesson, each week there is time or an activity to help children get to know each other better.
All Children who will be in the nursery or attending a class must be checked in at the check-in kiosk as you approach the Chapel. Once registered, you will receive one name tag for each child to wear, and one that will have all your checked-in children's names on it. Please show this tag to the teacher at the end of the service when you pick up your child.
We offer a nursery for infants to three-years-olds, and have classes for Pre-K, Kindergarten/First, and 2nd-5th graders.
The Pre-K Class has playtime and a shorter Bible lesson. The Kindergarten/First Grade class has structured playtime and a Bible lesson.
Children in 2nd grade - 5th grade sit with their families and participate during the music portion of the service. Usually at the start of the prayer time, these children are dismissed to the back of the chapel and and adult guide walks them to their classroom. In this class, kids bring and get more comfortable with their own Bibles and have a Bible lesson. At the end of the service, they are released to parents or guardians only.
